Christian Bjone writes and illustrates children’s books that reward curiosity. His stories pair rhythmic language with expressive, hand-created artwork, giving families something new to notice with every reading. Young readers can follow the action, search the illustrations, laugh at unexpected details, and imagine stories of their own.
These books are created for shared reading, independent discovery, classroom conversation, and the joyful moment when a child asks, “Can we read it again?”
Robots are hiding everywhere – in clock faces, in the air, and all around a bright seashore. They sing off-key, dance loudly, make spectacular messes, and rush through a costume ball that is anything but ordinary. Then the masks come off, and the celebration delivers one final surprise. This 50-page rhyming picture book, written and illustrated in ink and watercolor by Christian Bjone, welcomes children ages 6-9 into a colorful world where imagination includes everyone.
Christian’s message to children is simple: start drawing your own books now. Every story begins with an idea, a pencil mark, a question, or a character no one else has imagined yet. Young creators do not need to wait for permission to begin.
